I had a chance to take out a bike today, so I picked my 2005 Vulcan 800 Classic. It was a beautiful day to ride, so I took a 40-ish mile loop route.
I used the same mic placement as I did on my Harley yesterday, but anything over about 25mph was unusable. Too much wind noise, not enough voice. I can’t figure out if the road noise and bike noise was drowning out my voice, or if the bike is so quiet that I wasn’t talking loud enough?
I still had a great ride, snapped a couple of good pics, and got some nice video, so there’s that.
Any other vloggers have the same issue?
