In mid-August, Infiniti announced that they were bringing the G25 to our shores. Not much was known then, but more details have surfaced. Also, whereas I was under the impression that the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine from the Altima would power the G25, I was wrong. It’s a 2.5-liter V6 that will be under the hood of the G25, which will be much better suited to handle all-wheel drive duties. The G25 sedan starts at $30,950, complete with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Read on for more details and the full press release.

You asked for it, and it’s coming: GM announced this week that the Camaro Convertible will be produced! It’ll be a 2011 model, joining its hard-top brethren, which went on sale as 2010 models. This is a year sooner than a lot of the rumor mills had predicted, and it can’t come soon enough for fans of the iconic muscle car. Only the picture to the left has been released, but the base price of $30,000, including $850 destination, should whet potential buyers’ appetites. Click past the jump for the press release.

This week, Nissan released photos and pricing of its Altima mid-sized sedan. Changes are limited, including three new colors for the Sedan (Metallic Slate, Saharan Stone and Brilliant Silver) and a Special Edition package for the 2.5 S. On the Coupe front, only two new colors are available (Metallic Slate and Brilliant Silver), but you can still get a manual transmission with either the 4-cylinder or V6 engine. Yesterday, GM announced the official price of its upcoming EV (Electric Vehicle). I’ve reported on the Volt before, but with a price and a government tax break, the Volt is getting closer to reality. The base price? $41,000. The rumor? It requires premium fuel.

After having trouble getting the 2011 Ford Explorer Build & Price site to work this afternoon, I was finally able to get a “maxed-out” price for the V6 model, which is the only one configurable right now. The grand total is $50,710, which includes the Platinum White Tri-Coat paint and every available option. This figure also includes the $805 destination charge for Ford to deliver your new ride to your dealer.
