Much in the same vein as The Ford Collection, Chrysler opened up their own online store yesterday, including separate sites for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. In addition to t-shirts, mugs, you can buy a Chrysler-branded cigar humidor, Dodge Challenger die-cast model set, Jeep wine stopper and a Ram-branded Casio G-Shock watch. There are plenty of branded items there to show off your love for your favorite Chrysler brand, but where is the “Fiat Collection” web site?

We haven’t seen many (er, any) new products from Chrysler in a while, but the Jeep Jamboree Facebook page has pictures of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee working its way through the famed Rubicon trail, presumably to get its “Trail Rated” badge. Since it’s the top of the Jeep heap, the Grand Cherokee needs its Trail Rated status to be called a true Jeep. It’s good to see the new Grand Cherokee able to get up, over and around some pretty nasty rocks, as well as seeing that it isn’t an on-road-only SUV like so many of its competitors. As if Chrysler doesn’t have enough trouble selling cars, it’s been revealed that they are recalling about 24,000 vehicles of the 2009 and 2010 model years. It seems that a retaining clip can deform or come off completely, leading to complete brake failure, which is never a good thing.
