Ok, so I know they’re not even in the same league; the Ford Shelby GT500 is a raw, muscular pony car with pretty good handling and a nameplate that goes back to 1964, while the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe is a luxury-oriented coupe that hangs with BMWs, and whose name has only been used for the last several years. But, both being American cars, someone was going to pit them against each other, and it turns out Road & Track got it done, and posted it to YouTube. Click past the jump to see the video.

We’ve had some talk about the 2011 Mustang, both in V6 and GT trims. Ford has finally released information and videos of its 2011 Shelby GT500, the most powerful factory Mustang ever built, in both Coupe and Convertible trim.
