Refreshed: 2011 Jeep Patriot

As part of its reinvention, Chrysler is going through its catalog of vehicles and redesigning or replacing darn near every one of them.  The latest refreshening is going to the 2011 Jeep Patriot, which gets new front and rear bumpers, increased ride height on 4×4 models, and a new interior.  It borrows some details from its bigger brother, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so expect a much nicer interior and refined ride.  Follow the jump for the usual high-resolution pictures.

Rebuilding a Legend: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

So, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is upon us.  Redesigned from the ground up, the new Grand Cherokee gets a newer version of the Mercedes-Benz ML chassis, and strapped to that is some rather handsome sheetmetal.  Inside, more soft-touch materials are at hand than before, and the creature comfort count has risen significantly.  I’m looking to get my hands on one for review, so until then, enjoy the details and photos after the jump.

New Post Category: Vehicle Redesign

In an effort to keep Road Reality well-organized, some changes will periodically have to be made.  The first of which is today’ introduction of a new category: Vehicle Redesign.  This change will be made retroactively to posts I feel fit best in it, but for existing posts, they will also stay in the “Hot Car – Upcoming” category, for legacy reasons.
