If you live on the eastern seaboard of the US, you know that a huge snowstorm came through the mid-atlantic area and dumped 2+ feet of snow on us. In a bit of bad luck, a Baltimore City snow plow got stuck in the fluffy white stuff. Lucky for the snow plow, a Hummer H2 was nearby, and was able to get the plow back in service. In Chicago, Ohare Towing, as seen on the Speed channel, uses professional towing equipment, including chains, big-rig wreckers, as well as lots of training to do their job. In Chile, this crew apparently uses whatever is handy and will do the job. While I’m all for repurposing tools to do different jobs they work just fine for, you still have to take precautions.
