Mazda to Unveil SKYACTIV Technologies on 4/21, 11:15 AM (EST) (w/ Live Broadcast!)

In a live web cast starting around 11:15 AM EST on April 21st, Mazda will unveil its SKYACTIV technologies at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).  In case you miss it, the video will be available in an on-demand mode after the live broadcast.  Click past the jump for an explanation of SKYACTIV and the broadcast or video, depending on when you’re reading this.

Owner’s Log: MaximumPhil’s 2010 Maxima (Updates 2 and 3)

Due to a mix-up, Phil’s 2nd quarter update was never posted, so I’ve combined it with his 3rd quarter update on his 2010 Nissan Maxima.  In the future, we hope to have Phil’s data posted quarterly again.  Now then, while Phil doesn’t drive his Maxima as much as I drive mine, he still has some very nice insights pertaining to the ownership of his car.  Click on past the jump for more details.

Fun Stuff: Polish Mustang Gathering (with Video)

It’s not every day that a new car-related video impresses me, but the video after the jump sure did!  A group of Ford Mustang fans from Poland got together and cooked up this one.  It’s clean, features lots of shiny go-fast sheetmetal, and the music isn’t obnoxious, like in so many home-brewed movies.  In addition to the cinematography, there’s plenty of hooliganisms going on – smoky burnouts and the like.  Click past the jump for the 5 minute, 23 second long video.
